All of our homegrown pumpkin & squash varieties are edible! To help reduce food waste, and help you get your money’s worth out of your pumpkins, here is some pumpkin recipe inspiration, some courtesy of our friends at Northumbrian Pantry!


You can use pumpkin in lots of different recipes – anywhere you would use butternut squash or carrot you can use pumpkin! It can be roasted, boiled, pureed, makes a great addition to any stew and it’s even better knowing they are grown here at Brocksbushes.


Make use of the seeds, as well as the pumpkin flesh, by either saving them to plant next year, or clean, dry and roast them with some oil and the seasoning of your choice for 10 minutes, for a delicious crunchy snack!
